The LUMIX Flow application is designed specifically for creators engaged in video production, bridging the gap between scriptwriting and editing. It aims to simplify the video production workflow for various genres, including dramas, documentaries, and music videos, while remaining accessible to beginners.

LUMIX Mode offers functionalities that enable users to create scripts, storyboards, and shot lists with ease. The app allows for the visual sketching of scenes, detailing elements such as subject positioning, direction, and shot angles. Additionally, users can utilize their smartphones as external monitors for their LUMIX cameras, enabling quick reference to shot lists and storyboards during shoots. This feature enhances efficiency by providing immediate visibility on completed shots, thus streamlining the production process. Post-shooting, files are conveniently organized into folders based on user ratings by importing XML files into video editing software, which aids in expediting the editing phase.

Smartphone/Tablet Mode facilitates the entire filmmaking process using just a smartphone. Creators can script, shoot, and edit short films or documentaries without relying on traditional cameras or computers, making it an attractive option for novice filmmakers.

The app also allows for smartphone connectivity to LUMIX cameras as an external monitor, providing real-time focus checks during shooting. Compatibility is currently available with the DC-S1RM2 model, with future expected compatibility for DC-S5M2, DC-S5M2X, and DC-GH7 models.

OS compatibility requires iOS 15.4 or higher; devices equipped with a USB Type-C connector are recommended. For Lightning cable connections, a genuine Apple adapter is necessary.
